Three ancient peoples that this author is aware of were given their name by modern anthropologists and no one knows who they really were. They are the Minoans, the Phoenicians, and the Olmecs. In all three there are parallels with the biblical Philistines. This is something that should be made the object of intense research. Why is it not being done? The obvious answer is that it would not fit within the framework of secular academics. There is a mindset that is not acceptable to true science, but yet it persists.

   Christian missionaries are usually the most authoritative sources of information on primitive tribes. One such person is Don Richardson, whose own experiences led him to do extensive research on other fields. His story is told in his book, Eternity In Their Hearts, and is astonishing indeed.

   Thor Heyerdahl is a secular anthropologist who has done extensive work in Mexico and Central America. His work added to the work of Don Richardson is doubly astonishing, and provides the basis for most of this authors beliefs. Evolution teaches that all Native Americans descended from the first tribe to cross the Alaskan Land Bridge that no longer exists. I only hope that you the reader will come to reject that idea also.
