This letter recently arrived from a reader, and is a prime example of the results of the teaching of evolution in public schools. This has noticeably been accompanied by the teaching of pagan mythology, being careful to leave out anything that agrees with the bible. How sad that the churches have taken an attitude of being non-confrontational, which is born of complacent ignorance when there is information available!

I have always been confused about these things. You seem to know quite a lot. Maybe you can provide answers.
If God is eternal, who or what created God? and what created that,? etc.
If God knows all, how can we sin, if He knows what we are going to do anyhow?
If God is all good, how do bad things happen to good people, and why are there bad people?
If there is life after death, why can't I remember anything before I was born, and why can't I talk to my grandfather, who is dead?
If evolution is false, how can we explain changes in populations of creatures brought about by environmental changes in nature? For example, I heard about a group of light colored moths that were in a forest for centuries. They were about the same color as the trees, and the birds were lucky to be able to get even a few. A highway was built through the forest, and the bark on the trees became darker as exhaust fumes began to work on the trees. Soon the moths stuck out, and the birds had a feast. But, the moths that were a little darker were spared. They reproduced, and now all of the moths in the forest are dark, and match the trees as a result. Is this evolution?
We were talking about these things the other night. None of us
could come up with good answers. Maybe I could take a class or something.
Anyhow, how can you explain such odd and conflicting concepts?
Thanks

An Open letter to Mark.
You must understand the difference between time and eternity. Time is the measure of change. Where there is no change, time is irrelevant
Before the days of auto-focus cameras, we would focus the camera on things nearby, then on infinity for distant objects. Eternity is to time what infinity is to distance. We measure our years by earth's tilt. No other known planet is tilted on its axis the same as the earth.(1) Earth defies the law of physics that governs the gyroscope to remain tilted!(2)
God is eternal. He had no beginning and will have no end. There is none greater, or that being would be God.
If those teachers who taught you pagan mythology had told you the whole truth, you would know that the same pagan mythology included a creator god who was not created by any other. It also included the story of the great flood, from which God preserved A man and woman in a boat.
God's basic creation was out of nothing, called ex nihilo. He formed man out of clay, (not ex nihilo) then gave him life. Giving life to non living material is something that only God can do.
After the flood, God recreated the earth following his established principles (not ex nihilo). Misunderstanding of this principle has led to the acceptance of evolution.
When the same living object changes color or becomes taller over time, that is not evolution. Evolution would be something becoming something else on a higher scale.
A few years ago, evolutionists taught that everything originated in the ocean. Now they are teaching that whales were once land dwellers with legs, and then evolved into amphibians. Then they lost their legs and stayed on as a sea dwelling mammal.
This only shows that an evolutionist will say anything in an attempt to make a name for himself. How much more absurd could you be?
When Satan tempted Eve in the Garden of Eden, he told four basic lies:
I hate to say it, Mark, but it appears that you have fallen for all four. I beg you to accept the fact that God created man, and not vice versa.
Yours eternally,
jerbet
