We in America have a problem. The ghetto area near where I live has the second highest homicide rate per population in the nation. Everyone points to the fact that many homes do not have a father in them. The population is being increased by the irresponsible stud. At the same time there are many pastors and many churches in the area. Some people say that this shows that the churches aren't doing their job. I cannot agree that this is the problem. Let me explain. To me the most absurd thing that mankind has ever done is to domesticate an animal, force his behavior, and then study that forced behavior as an example for human behavior. When we go into a ghetto area and teach a man that he is nothing but an animal at the top of the food chain we must remember that the only animals he knows much about are a dog and a cat. Now let us suppose that someone he knows breeds purebred dogs. Some fine breeders and dog trainers live in or near the ghetto. They keep their stud dog cooped up and force his behavior. If he were free to do so, he might mate for life. Many wild creatures do so, and still more cooperate in the raising of the offspring they have bred into existence to full maturity. We now have the predictable consequences of the teaching of evolution in public schools, namely, animal like behavior that some wild creatures would be ashamed of. More |
